October 2017 Book Haul

October 2017 Book Haul

Hi Guys, it’s book haul time!  I know this is super late but whatever.  The books I have in this haul are mostly from New York Comic Con,  except for one book because it released this month and I was like I want it.  Now let’s get on with the books.

The first book I got at Comic Con was BB-8 on the Run by Drew Daywalt, who also wrote The Day the Crayons Quit and The Day the Crayons Come Home.  This book is a children’s picture book that has beautiful illustrations and I was lucky enough to get it signed by the author when at Comic Con.

The next book I got was the arc (advanced reader copy) of Roomies by Christina Lauren.  This book is an adult contemporary novel and comes out on  December 5th, 2017.

The third book I got was Borderline by Mishell Baker.  I am currently reading this book and it is pretty good.  This book is the first book in a YA urban fantasy trilogy called The Arcadia Project.  The second book, Phantom Pains came out in March of 2017 and then the third book,  Imposter Syndrome is coming out on March 13th, 2018.

The next book I got at Comic Con was Tess of the Road by Rachel Hartman.  This is another arc, the actual book comes out February 27th, 2018.  Now this another YA fantasy novel.  Now, this is probably completely irrelevant but my arc copy does not have the official cover art on it but, when I was looking online for the release date I saw the actual cover art and it is flipping gorgeous.

The next book I got I bought at Comic Con unlike all the other books I got at Comic Con which I got for free was Camp Half-Blood Confidential by Rick Riordan.  This is a companion novel to the Heroes of Olympus series.

The final book I got at Comic Con was The Queen of Blood by Sarah Beth Durst.  This is the first book in The Queens of Renthia Series.

The final book I got in the month of October was The Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan.  This is the final book of Rick’s Magnus Chase & the Gods of Asgard.

That is all for this book haul tell me what books you bought last month.  Also, this haul had seven books in it which is a lot of books.  I think that’s the most I’ve had in awhile.

Stay sweet,

Scoop Girl
