December 2017 Wrap Up

December 2017 Wrap Up

Hello and welcome to my December Wrap Up!  Let’s pretend I’m not spam posting and haven’t posted four posts over the course of two days :).  In December I read a grand total of three books and one was a graphic novel.  Can we have a slow clap for my wonderful reading month *slow clap*  *slow clap*.  In my defense, it was the holidays and I had stuff to do because…holidays.  Now on to the books.

  • The first book I read in the month of December was I Hate Everyone But You by Gaby Dunn and Allison Raskin.  I really enjoyed this book it was told completely through texts and emails which made it a really quick read.  Should have made it a really quick read again busy holidays.  For anyone who doesn’t know Gaby and Allison are YouTubers from the YouTube channel Just Between Us.  You should really check out their channel it’s hilarious. On a rating scale I’d give I Hate Everyone But You a 93%, B.
  • The next book I read was Warcross by Marie Lu.  Which was FABULOUS, definitely on my favorite books of 2017 list.  I didn’t realize it was the first book in a series until I finished it and was like that can’t be the end. For anyone wondering book two does not have a title or release date but when it comes out I shall buy it and read it.  I would give Warcross a 98%, A+.
  • The third and final book I read in December was The Mortal Instruments Graphic Novel: Volume One story by Cassandra Clare and art by Cassandra Jean.   Which was great as expected because Cassandra Clare is a wonderful author and Cassandra Jean is one of the best artists I’ve seen on Tumblr.  Volume one covers the first section and half of section two of City of Bones(City of Bones is broken into three parts I believe).  I would give it a 96%, A.

And those are the books I read in December.  I hope you guys enjoyed this and my terrible reading month.  I hope you guys had a much better reading month then me and leave the books you read down in the comments.

Stay sweet,

Scoop Girl
